Navigation

Navigating around in the game is fairly simple. Getting to the page or activity you want to be on/participate in is usually done with the left-hand side-bar links/menu. Getting around in dungeons can be done by clicking on the dungeon screen or by using your arrow keys of your keyboard. There are also some words and links below the dungeon screen that are for navigation.

(A quick note about navigating on this page: I know the pictures don't look very large but you can click on them to increase size/view larger image. You won't go off this site but will have to click the back-button once to get out of larger viewing mode)

The top portion of the left-hand side-bar contains your stats:

• The alert bar is here. If you need to read an alert message, this bar will blink a lighter yellow-gold color. Just click it and a window will open with your alert.
• Your gold pieces (the piles of gold) are shown here, along with DT currency (in green).
• Your rank is shown here and your stars (if you have any - I don't have any)
• Your experience level (mine is 35 right now, this month)
• Your XP/experience points to next level are shown here under the sword
• Your injuries, lives and PP/Points Progression values are shown here
• A Messages indicator is here - it will show an alert if a message is waiting for you to read.
• SPECIAL NOTE*** Sometimes, near this Messages button/area, you will see an icon of a blinking shield with crossed swords across it... THIS IS important to click on because it is likely A QUEST MESSAGE!!! If it goes away and you haven't picked up the quest, you might miss extra fun, earning opportunities, battle messages, etc.
• "Special Offer" and "DT Code" words in peach/pink color are links to go look at offers or go examine and purchase DT Codes.

TIMER BAR:

Directly in line with the Alerts, you'll find the main game timer display area. Shown here is the TIME.  (00:48 at the time of this screenshot, so 48 minutes after Midnight where the game server is located). Also shown on this line, END DAY as well as END ADVENTURE. End Day means end of the 24 hour period (the daily re-set) and End Adventure shows the hours and days left in the monthly game session. In this screenshot example, End Day is 23:12 (12 minutes past 11pm) and End Adventure is 03d, 23h, 12m, indicating that the game has almost 4 days or so left until the server/software will be re-set.

Below this, most of the side-bar is filled with navigational links that will take you to various screens, additional side-games, contest pages, markets, shops, etc.

The following section shows general and character navigational links:

Under "The Site" you can get to the Index (a main dashboard area), the First Steps tutorial/info area, view Top Players stats, find the Contact admin page, the Frequently Asked Questions page and also go to the player's FORUM.

Under "YOU" the links used to manage your character, equip your character with weapons, check your success progress, account/login information... all sorts of stats for your character and controls for managing your character and items are all found in this small section of the left-hand side-bar. You can use the "My Referrals" link to check and see who has signed up into the game using your referral link. You can FIND YOUR REFERRAL LINK by clicking the "Sponsoring" link. Use your referral link (there are 3 different links to you, depending on what page you want to show newcomers) to invite people to play Dungeons and Treasures with YOU as sponsor! Things related to managing your account, equipment, character, etc - everything related to YOU as a player can be found in this area. Other pages of this site will explain each link/page in more detail.

The next section shows the site PLACES and Contests:

PLACE:

• You will need the links in this section to get to the SHOPS and Markets in order to purchase (or SELL) items
• You'll need the links here to get to the TAVERN to gain entrance to a dungeon each day
• You'll use links in this section to go to the TEMPLE each day (you can win gold just by praying in the temple - one opportunity per day for all players)
• You will use links here to access the CASTLE where some top player stats are shown
• Use the CHESTS ROOM link to gain GOLD with special keys you will find in the dungeons
• Use "THE JOUSTS" to play a side-game, extra game feature against another player
• Use "THE JOUSTS MULTI" to joust in a multiple player environment competition

CONTEST:

• The "GIFT QUESTS" link takes you to the stats page for prizes related to the current monthly contest. Real merchandise prizes (not just virtual and game-specific) prizes can be won playing Dungeons and Treasures. The prize and contest is tracked and shown on this page
• Top Sponsorship link/page shows the GOLD won by members sponsoring level 1 referrals in the contest (The DT-CODES contest)
• Top DT-Codes is related to the link above - and the page this link goes to shows top players gaining points through purchasing DT-Codes, referring, etc)
• BOW & BALLOONS as well as BOWS & CASTLES are extra side-games at Dungeons & Treasures that are single-player skill based games
• CONTEST CLICKS leads to a team-based competition involving quests. To get the quests, keep looking for the shield with crossed swords to pop up as an alert at any time. Many quest/contest click messages are in the alerts.

The Contest Clicks/Quest is at the bottom of the message with a strip of yellow background. This one is alerting me that an EVENT called Murder level 1 (a type of quest) is available for me to participate in. I will follow up after closing the alert - by going to the Contest Clicks link and seeing what's on the page there. It will be a game activity where I will be asked to pick some team mates in order to complete this event/quest. There are separate STATS that are specific to this contest and a separate top player list for the Contest Clicks games. The side-game will be explained in more detail on another page of this site.

The last section of the navigation side-bar at the left is the BONUS area:

These are all side-games not directly related to how your character functions in the dungeons - however - if you win GOLD or special tickets, stars, etc., of any kind here, these can definitely BOOST the ability of your character to make purchases in the game.

• GOLD CALENDAR is a spin type game of chance, almost like a slot machine
• CRYSTAL BALL is a "draw" type game of chance. You need STARS to play and can win gold by playing
• TREASURES ZURGS is a combat game of chance. You can purchase "turns" with gold, so any player can do this game
• TREASURES HUNT is a game of chance where you pick a spot on a map and hope it returns gold or prizes. THIS GAME IS FREE TO ALL and everyone gets one turn at this per day. Players can play more than once if they have STAR points to use for extra turns
• GOLDEN PYRAMID is a "Jackpot" draw game of chance. Players need STAR POINTS to play and can win gold and DT currency
• Mini Jackpot is a "draw" game of chance. Players need STAR POINTS to play (buy tickets for the draw) and can win gold
• JACKPOT is a bigger jackpot draw game of chance that uses STAR POINTS for tickets and entry into the draw. This Jackpot game guarantees minimum 100 gold winnings per ticket and maximum 200 000 gold AS WELL AS dollars

These are the navigational links that players have access to along the left hand side bar at all times.

GETTING AROUND INSIDE THE DUNGEONS

It's a point and click interface inside the dungeons. You can click on arrows that are pointing in the direction you wish to travel. If you don't favour this way of navigating, you can click the word links that describe where you want to go (ie: u-turn, left, right, ahead, turn, etc). You can even use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate around the dungeons.
